Minigames: missing opponents, race behavior and rewards

If an activity cannot start, first check whether the problem is a missing participant or a version issue. If it starts but you lose, that is a separate question about rules and execution.

Two recent fixes worth checking

Horse-race opponent moving too quickly2.03.00Your build and the exact race involved.

These changes concern specific failures. They do not establish a universal reward table or a guaranteed way to win. The old unverified claims about cosmetics, weapon parts and titles have been removed.

Before retrying an activity

  1. Record the place, activity and character you are using.
  2. Read the available interaction prompt and any entry requirement.
  3. Check whether the activity fails to start, stops midway or ends with an ordinary loss.
  4. Compare the symptom with the dated fix above.

The Known Issues notice also lists some unavailable NPC/object interactions and suggests a game restart as a temporary measure for that issue. This is not a promise that restarting resolves every missing opponent or quest condition.

Decide whether the activity is worth repeating

Write down the entry cost shown in your game, the time spent and the reward actually received. Include unsuccessful attempts when comparing results. A one-off reward or a lucky outcome is not a repeatable income rate.

The previous claim that racing and fight clubs were the most reliable mid-game income did not have sufficient evidence. Choose an activity because you enjoy it or because its current reward serves your goal; do not rely on that old ranking.

Report a reproducible problem

A useful report identifies the location, build, platform and the point at which the activity fails. If a participant is missing, capture the empty interaction area and the active objective rather than only a screenshot of the map.

Use the patch tracker to compare rollout states, the spending checklist to assess returns, and official support for a game bug. We have not tested all activities or verified all reward pools.
