Compare the transaction you can actually see
This page no longer claims that every town follows a verified scarcity-based price model. Before a trade, record the item, quantity, displayed price and resulting currency. Compare the same item and quantity if you are evaluating two merchants; otherwise the numbers do not describe the same transaction.
A simple planning example: buying ten units at an observed price of 3 and selling them at 4 gives a gross difference of 10. That is invented arithmetic, not a Crimson Desert price quote. Travel time, prerequisites and any costs visible in your game still need to be accounted for.
Investment missions are not guaranteed profit
Patch 2.01.00 added a Gold Bar Investment Mission and corrected a withdrawable-gold-bar display issue associated with exceeding inventory capacity. The note does not publish a guaranteed profit rate or prove that storing money removes every risk.
Read the current mission terms before committing resources. Record the amount committed, time until the result and actual outcome. Compare net results over equivalent periods instead of extrapolating one successful run into a permanent income rate.
When stored trade goods seem to disappear
Patch 2.02.00 addressed items disappearing from Trade Goods Storage when loading certain saves. Check whether your symptom follows that sequence and whether the relevant patch has reached your platform.
Keep a before/after inventory record and the exact save/load steps. Avoid repeatedly moving or spending the same stock while trying to identify what changed. If the problem persists, use the official reporting route; this guide cannot restore an item or inspect your save.
Choose a method with a small comparison log
| Record | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Build, character and activity | Prevents mixing different conditions. |
| Currency and materials before / after | A larger balance can hide material costs. |
| Active time and waiting time | Separates hands-on work from elapsed time. |
| Failures or interrupted attempts | Avoids counting only successful runs. |
The old table's “no risk” labels have been removed. Use camp checks for donations and dispatch, and crafting checks before selling materials for an upcoming recipe. The patch tracker links the source dates behind these notes.
