Crafting and gathering: check requirements before a material run

A long gathering trip is only useful if it supplies the recipe you can actually make. Start at the recipe screen, record the missing requirement, and check the version when the result does not match the prompt.

Make a recipe-specific shopping list

Choose one output and copy its displayed ingredients and quantities. Mark what you already own and what is still missing. If a recipe is unavailable, resolve the displayed requirement before assuming that a larger stock of materials will unlock it.
