Subnautica 2 map: withdrawn routes and source notes
Correction: 26 September 2026. The previous map controls, fast-travel claims, resource distribution table and progression routes were not supported by version-specific evidence and have been removed. Do not use the former pages to plan a route.
What the official update establishes
The Buddy System update (EA 1.2, 19 August 2026) mentions the Graveyard, Tufa Zone, Thermal Area and North Coral Gardens. It also records changes to signals and the addition of Tracking Tags. Those notes establish named locations and particular changes; they do not establish the exact routes, resource lists or unlocking sequence previously published here.
Former regional entries
The following entries now share this correction because their detailed routes did not have independent supporting evidence.
Coral Gardens
The former collection route and threat rating are withdrawn.
Graveyard
The former fragment locations and encounter instructions are withdrawn.
Hot Biome
The former access prerequisite and vehicle-fragment route are withdrawn.
Axum Ruins
The former resource and puzzle progression claims are withdrawn.
Eastern Region
The former mining loop and fast-travel instructions are withdrawn.
What is required before restoring a route
A replacement needs the game version and platform, the starting location, the actual controls used, and a reproducible record of the path and result. Naming an official update does not verify unrelated instructions. This correction is excluded from search indexing and carries no advertising.
