Start with your next recipe
Open the blueprint you intend to build and copy its current ingredient names and quantities. Keep raw materials and processed components on separate lines. This avoids collecting a familiar resource from an older guide for a recipe that now needs something else.
The former index mixed unverified locations, recipes and farming rankings. Those claims have been withdrawn. This replacement uses selected official update records to help diagnose a failed pickup or scan; it is not an exhaustive map of deposits.
- Write down the game build and whether you are the host or a joining player.
- List the ingredients shown by the blueprint, then subtract what is already in storage.
- Try one pickup and check the inventory result before committing to a long collection run.
- If an interaction fails, compare the exact symptom with the dated notes below.
Collection and scanning changes
Adaptive Measures, EA 1.1 changed Silver distribution and hints, corrected resource interaction flags, and fixed misleading Sonic Resonator requirements. A tool prompt from an old screenshot may therefore be outdated.
Buddy System, EA 1.2 removed Sonic Resonator harvesting of Atacamite and fixed some nonexistent Scanner Station signals. A scanner marker is not proof that a collectible is accessible in your current session.
Use the material notes below for the precise recorded issue. A fix near one landmark does not prove that it is the best farming location or that all deposits respawn.
Metal Farm: separate power from production
EA 1.2 addressed several Metal Farm power/production inconsistencies and an exploit that inherited another resource’s growth time. Do not plan output using old swap-timing tricks.
For a reproducible check, record the chosen resource, power indication and inventory count. Wait for the displayed cycle, then compare the actual output. If the display and inventory disagree, capture both before changing the setup. We have not independently measured current cycle lengths.
A practical collection worksheet
| Field | What to write |
|---|---|
| Target blueprint | Exact name and build number |
| Required / already stored / missing | Three counts for each ingredient |
| Raw material or component? | Keep processing requirements separate |
| Interaction result | Prompt, tool used and actual inventory change |
| Return plan | Choose a known return point before extending a dive |
For example, if your screen asks for 6 units and storage contains 2, the outstanding amount is 4. These are illustrative numbers, not a real recipe. Stop extending the trip when your return margin is uncertain; no fixed oxygen allowance works for every equipment setup.
The individual material pages below explain which old claims were removed and, where available, provide a material-specific official note. Recipe quantities, guaranteed spawn coordinates and measured yields still require version-specific evidence.
